You will reach some of the most remote places on the Island.
Places of Interest:
Kykkos Monastery - Stavros tis Psokas - Where you will have the chance to see the famous mouflon. One of the most famous and richest monasteries in Cyprus.
Dedicated to the Virgin Mary, the monastery houses many treasures like one of the surviving icons ascribed to St.Luke covered in tortoiseshell and mother of pearl.
Lunch - After an adventurious morning, it's time for a relaxing lunch in a traditional mountain village taverna.
Mount Olympus Viewpoint - Nearly the highest peak of the Troodos Mountains, at an altitude of 6,400 feet. Here we stand at the viewpoint of the throne of the ancient Gods and marvel at the panoramic views.
Waterfalls - This paradise like spot, with its lush vegetation, cool spring waters and lovely scents will relax both your body and soul.
Platres - A popular summer resort, wander around the village square and have a coffee break. Passing through traditonal stone built villages on our way back to the hotels will end our safari.
The minimum age for camel riding is 6 years old.
Please remember to bring your ticket and give it to the driver in the morning when he arrives to pick you up.
Pregnant ladies are travelling at their own risk, as the company does not recommend their participation.
The company does not recommend the safaris to persons with medical conditions, which restrict walking, (we cannot carry wheelchairs)
The company insists that a seat rotation is carried out in all safari vehicles.
The company bears no responsibility for items forgotten in the vehicles of left behind at stops.
The company reserves the right to alter the route-stops to accommodate various religious days and other special cases.
