Grand Tour Kykkos Jeep Safari From East Coast

We begin our journey with a first stop at a meeting point, where all jeeps gather together and start the day's trip.
Travelling via Limassol and some picturesque villages, our next stop will be at village Omodhos, the principle village of Limassols vineyard region.
Stroll around the village with its narrow stone-paved streets and admire the architecture of the houses built of stone, or relax and enjoy a break at the 'kafenion' village cafeteria.
Next, a thrilling drive on the off-road, through the forest, leads to the Gelefos Bridge, built here over a small river full of running water by the Venetian. A beautiful spot for a break and a short walk in the nature.
We continue our off-road drive through forests and small villages and arive at Kykkos Monastery, the highlight of the day.
Built in the beginning of the 12th century the monstery is dedicated to the Virgin Mary housing one of the icons painted by St.Lucas. Through the centuries Kykkos Monastery became the biggest, richest and most important monastey on the Island.
A lunch break is always welcomed, and we will enjoy a traditional meal accompanied by unlimited wine, in a village taverna after our Kykkos visit.
Relaxed and full of energy after lunch, we head towards the Troodos viewpoint. The Troodos Mountain range, the highest mountain on the Island.
Awesome views will leave you breathless on the way to the viewpoint, where you may marvel the panoramic views and take amazing photographs.
The tour continues through villages and pine forests and leads us to the waterfalls. This paradise like spot, with its vegetation, cool spring waters and lovely scents will relax both your body and soul.
Our next stop will be in the many traditional mountainside villages for some wine tasting of the various regional red, white and rose wines.
Passing through traditional stone built villages on our way back, a coffee break will be very welcome before we end our safari on the doorstep of the hotels.
